Title
Letter from Lord Olivier (Sydney)
Description
Says her portrait is "stunning" as Uncle A would have said. The earrings remind him of Ottoline Morrell. He has read Siegfried Sassoon's last book - he knows the country well and remembers T'rese Sassoon and what Hamo used to call "her little Jew boy". He also remembers Aunt Rachel who was said to have designs on Hamo. Encloses a study he made of the Medway Marshes - E might show it to Siegfried. Also encloses a poem by Walt Whitman sent by M Simson in Jamaica.
