Title
Letter from John Betjeman
Description
Thanks Edith for the visit to Daye House. He and Penelope are staying with the Rosslyn family - its Mary's 21st birthday. He hopes Sir Henry is looking better. He saw John Edward Bowle and Mrs Bowle (Mrs B thinks her her husband is dotty). He is going to go and live in the country and work as a publisher's vendor and weekly book reviewer. It is extraordinary about Sir Jacob Collings Squire.
