Title
Letter from Peter Nutbrock?
Description
Thanks Edith Olivier for letter - shared news with Imma who was with him when it arrived. Letters from home mean a lot. Tries to see Imma as much as possible. Attends a lot of functions and meetings connected to war activities with his brother in law and sister. Neil in Melbourne all the time so Imma alone. Neil unpopular in Melbourne. Heard second hand that a lot of people in Sydney question Imma's nationality. and think she is a spy. His sister (Princses Alice?) has talked with her. Had a lot of visitors from England including Malcolm Sergent, Thomas Beecham etc. Describes a Loyalty Rally in Sydney. Cross that, the sun does not clear up his asthma - turned down for military service.
