Title
Letter from Lady Diana Daly (continuing on a letter started on 28th Aug)
Description
(August) Returned from trip to Ireland - dazzled by the lights! No blackout. Very upset about Poor Duchess of Kent with no family within reach. Mary is doing her best to help. She is at Dunlarig Castle with various (?) and the Belgian Ambassador - he is very boring! The Gloster's chauffer got drunk and drove the car into a hedge which has angered the police and the council.
(September) Returned to Seend after spending two days in Norfolk looking for a house - now not needed as husband's regiment not moving. Saw Billy Humbledeen recently.
