Title
Letter from Sir Timothy Eden
Description
Must cancel visit on 24th as his commander has asked him to not be away at weekends if possible. Post has to be manned but for those who work in offices all week it is the only chance of time off. Depressed after his lecture of "education". Army Education seems in wrong and feeble hands - now is the time to teach these people nobility of purpose and character. Thought the audience a "Bolshie crowd" but an officer said only discontented and with reason to be. Why? These are Military Police.
