Description	Office causes arose mostly from visitation presentments. Usually in this case the name of the parish appears in the margin and the business was dealt with more or less by deanery. But occasionally, especially in the latest causes, there is no indication that they arose from visitations and they were not dealt with geographically. Some office causes are found in the instance cause act books (D1/39/1).
