Richard Speke, husbandman, 73; has lived there from birth; has known Long for 12 years, Hobbes for 40 and Ridler for 10: Henry has been vicar of Westport for 12 years: for at least 50 years the chapel of Brokenborough has been within the parish of Westport and tithable places in the parish Richard holds a copyhold, worth £10 and assessed in the Subsidy at 20s.
