Evidence of John Bysie [Busie], Pomeroy in Wingfield, yeo, 44; has lived from birth; has known Baylie for 20 years and Kendall for 2 years: On 22 Oct 1603 he went with Henry Kendall and Richard Baylie, apparitor in the bishop’s court in Trowbridge, to an inn of John Bowes [the George in Baylie’s deposition]; Richard spoke of cases before the court and one about a servant of Mr Richard Baylie, who left bearing a child she said was of John Mathew, but Kendall thought Bailie had lain with her.
