| Description | Paper volume containing: an epitome by Seth Ward of the 1610 charter; articles and replies for the 1661, 1672 and 1677 visitations; an account of the hospital, its foundation and statutes; two rentals and a valuation. With this volume there is a copy of the 1610 charter; a note about allowances to inmates of the hospital; and a printed pamphlet, 1796, containing a copy of the deed of 1796 vesting money in trustees for the hospital and a short account of the origin of the hospital.
