| Administrative History | The Parish Meetings or Councils of Kingston Deverill, Brixton Deverill and Monkton Deverill were combined in 1976 as Upper Deverills Parish Council. Records from after that date have been catalogued as 3493.
Reclassification of parish council collections in 2023 has divided this collection into three for each of the Deverills. While retaining the same finding reference numbers, they are now three discrete collections with their own Parish Meetings. Any records for all three or where it is unclear (which is the majority) have been kept with Kingston Deverill, the leading parish of the three. |
