2 - Notes on the history of Amesbury Priory, by Charles Henry Talbot.
3 - West and South Elevation drawings of the Old Church, Little Sodbury before it was taken down in 1858. It was believed that William Tyndale preached there when he was tutor at nearby Manor House of Sir John Walsh in c1522.
4 - Guide book of the castle, chapel, parish church and house at Farleigh, Hungerford, by the reverend J E Jackson.
5 - Copy letter from Charles Henry Talbot to the Wiltshire Gazette about a notice he had seen written by Walter Budman about a house in Chippenham High Street. There appeared to be a statement of fact about the house when Charles had merely thought there was conjecture about the architecture and year of building and various changes to the house. The front of the house appears to have been changed for some particular reason with the back of the house being left alone and that this could have been done for some person of importance: possibly Sir John Eyles who was MP for Chippenham from 1713 to 1722. He has heard it said that the front of the house came from the demolished house on Bowden Hill which had been partially built by a Mr Styles who was a prominent speculator in the South Seas Company and that when the bubble burst, and he lost all his money, building on the house stopped and it was eventually demolished. The interior did not apparently match the exterior and it would seem the architect was thinking more of the appearance of the front of the house. Continues with various further facts.
