1 - 17th century version in English of a letter of Robert bishop of Salisbury setting out the endowment of the vicarage of Lacock; glebe, tithes, house and an annual payment from the abbey (rector).

3 - Writ of Precipe to the Sheriff of Wiltshire (preliminary to a fine to be levied) by Henry Sharington, knight and Anne his wife to Edmund Pyrton, of Little Bentley, Essex, esquire and James Paget of Grove Place, Hants esquire according to the agreement made between them relating to Sharington's Wiltshire estates and manors.
4 - Probate of the will of Robert Paget citizen and alderman of London. PCC. Fragment of seal. His daughter, Anne, married Henry Sharington.
5 - Deed of covenant between William Sharington and Oliver Hyde, Abingdon, Berks, gent on marriage of John Sharington, brother of William, and Anne Ketwiche, daughter of Thomasine, now wife of Oliver. Signed by me Olyver Hyde. Seal a gem, a man's head.

9 - Letters patent pardoning Sir William Sharington for his misdemeanours as keeper of the royal mint at Bristol, with restitution of his goods and estates on payment of £8000. Finely illuminated with royal portrait and fine impression of the great seal.
10 - Extract from Pipe Roll, that William Sharington knight is quit of the sum of £12,866.12s.2d. due to King Edward VO for his Wiltshire manors.
11 - Deed of arbitration by Sir Hugh Stucley and Edward Baynard esquire, arbitrators chosen by Lady Dame Grace Sharington and by Harry Sharington, esquire, 1556 to resolve their disputes. Grace to have the mansion house at Lacock and manors of Lacock and Seend; Harry to have the demesnes of Lacock and Bewley mansion house of Bowden, Lacock. Also arrangements about personal belongings.
12 - Notarial instrument of John Clerk, diocese of Bath and Wells, confirming a papal license to Henry Sharington and his wife, Anne, to be exempt from the strictures during Lent, including permission to eat meat. Notarial mark.
13 - Letters patent of a general pardon to Henry Sharington of Lacock, esquire. Greater part of seal.
14 - Inspeximus of a record of Quo Warranto in Queen's Bench against Henry Sharington concerning all his manors, lands and estates. Two sheets entitled "A breviat of the contents of the Quo Warranto brought against Sir Henry Sharington" by Gilbert Gerrard, the King's attorney. The summary is numbered 146 in the Story Maskelyne calendar of deeds (see 2664/1/2A/615)

In case of refusal or delay to take any legal measures to pursue and procure sums and effects without need of further authorisations than the present document.
